Subhrajit Sen, is co - founder of AlterDoc Productions, started his journey as an independent filmmaker and visual journalist based in Kolkata, India. With over eight years of experience in lens-based storytelling, his work highlights marginalized socio-political and environmental issues, focusing on livelihoods, cultural heritage, and ecosystems.

Subhrajit’s notable project Death Valley, which explores the impact of uranium mining, has been showcased at platforms like Jawaharlal Nehru University, Just Another Photo Festival, and Polyphony International Photo Festival. He has collaborated with organizations such as the BBC, Mongabay, Nikkei Asia, UNICEF, and PARI, earning accolades like the Ian Parry Scholarship (UK) and the Social Documentary Photography Grant (2018), EJN Film Grant 2022 along with many other major organizations. 

Currently, he creates films examining industrialization, environmental issues, and cultural erasure while documenting Southeast Asia’s shifting political landscape and its effects on marginalized communities. 

Dipanwita Saha is an Lens based artist photographer based in Kolkata, India. She completed her graduation in engineering before she decided to pursue photography. For Saha, Photography is a medium to raise a question to society on critical issues. In her documentary practice, she explores societal frameworks and the dynamics of political institutions in contemporary India in a subjective manner. Dipanwita's work has been exhibited in many national and international exhibitions and galleries. Her primary interests are history, cultural narratives, and sociopolitical changes. As part of her image-making practice, Saha deploys personal voices, metaphorical exploration, and abstraction to unravel narratives of people, places, and their histories.
